1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of m10ltd.com (the "Service") operated by M10 Ltd ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 40 Rivington Street, London EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom. By accessing or using the Service, you accept these Terms in full.

The Service currently provides information about M10 and Project Adapt, an adaptive competitive multiplayer shooter in development, and allows you to register for the Project Adapt early-access waitlist and, if invited, to participate in closed playtest sessions.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, or other applicable UK consumer-protection legislation.

2. Eligibility and Access

To use the Service you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
  • Not be prohibited from receiving the Service under any applicable law.

You agree not to use the Service unlawfully, to interfere with its operation, to transmit malicious code or harmful content, or to attempt unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its underlying systems. You may not copy, scrape, systematically download, or reverse-engineer the Service except as expressly permitted by law.

3. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all game assets, code, designs, copy, and the Project Adapt name and branding, is owned by the Company or its licensors and is protected by UK and international intellectual-property law including the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for its intended purpose only.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual-property rights to you. You must not use the M10 or Project Adapt name, logo, or game assets for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

4. Early Access and Playtest Participation

By registering for early access or participating in a playtest session, you understand that:

  • Project Adapt is in active development and the build you access is pre-release software. Features, balance, and content may change substantially before public launch.
  • Your match telemetry and in-session behaviour may be recorded and used to evaluate and improve the adaptive AI system. Refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how this data is handled.
  • We do not use your gameplay data to train AI models for any purpose outside of improving Project Adapt, and we will not do so without your explicit written consent.
  • No compensation is payable for early-access or playtest participation unless separately agreed in writing.
  • Playtest sessions may be subject to additional non-disclosure terms communicated at the time of invitation.

5. User Content

You are responsible for any content you submit to the Service, including feedback forms, contact messages, and careers applications. You grant the Company a limited, royalty-free licence to use, store, and process such content solely to provide the Service, respond to your enquiry, or evaluate your application. You warrant that any content you submit does not infringe third-party rights and does not contain unlawful material.

6. Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

The Service at m10ltd.com is currently provided free of charge. Where we in future offer any paid distance contract to you as a consumer, you will have a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. To exercise that right, email [email protected] with a clear cancellation statement; we will refund any sums paid within 14 days of receiving your request. This clause will apply from the date any paid service is introduced.

7. Disclaimers and Statutory Rights

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that Project Adapt will launch on any particular date or in any particular form.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales, including liability under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where applicable.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the law of England and Wales, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed GBP 100, except for liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law (as set out in section 7 above).

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service or any part of it. We will give reasonable notice where practicable. Sections 3, 7, 8, 9, and 10 will survive termination.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of London, United Kingdom have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, subject to your right as a consumer to bring or defend proceedings before the courts of your place of habitual residence within the United Kingdom.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. If you are registered on the early-access waitlist, we will notify you by email of any changes that materially affect your rights. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
